Founding member of design team responsible for instituting UX as a discipline and building a digital team. Launched ProSight Direct, a direct-to-consumer insurance platform for independent business professionals. Responsible for end-to-end, mobile-first experience from marketing website to the quoting journey, check-out, and management of policies on the customer portal.
Led UX and design of ProSight Direct’s initial launch, overseeing contributions from multiple designers internally and externally. Successfully transferred all design efforts to internal resources within one month of hire resulting in increased speed of execution, internal knowledge ownership, and reduction of costs.
Design and developed custom, responsive experience to quote-bind-issue an insurance policy in under two minutes, along with a self-servicing platform for policyholders to view coverage/documents, generate instant proof of insurance, process endorsements, submit a claim, and cancel their policy. Product was shipped in 8 months.
Drove organizational change positioning UX as differentiator and competitive advantage, effectively establishing UX as key stakeholder in digital product development efforts.
